San Diego Hunger Coalition makes CalFresh enrollment as easy as possible.
In June 2019, the State of California made it so that anyone on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) can be eligible to enroll in CalFresh to get extra money for groceries. San Diego Hunger Coalition created these toolkits to make it as easy as possible to enroll in CalFresh while receiving your SSI benefits.
Toolkits for Partners
This toolkit is for nonprofits, community-based organizations, and government agencies assisting individuals with the CalFresh application process.
Toolkit for Community Members
This toolkit is for members of the community who currently receive SSI/SSP benefits and are seeking to apply for CalFresh benefits to get extra money for groceries.
