San Diego Hunger Coalition works collaboratively with community partners to create equitable access to food assistance in San Diego County through research, education, and advocacy.

Vision

Every individual has access to three culturally appropriate and nutritious meals every day.

Goals

The San Diego Hunger Coalition works to: 

1. Develop a more efficient & equitable network of food assistance programs by eliminating the barrier historically underserved communities face.

2.    Increase participation in government-funded assistance programs to eliminate the meal gap.

3.   Advocate for legislative and administrative policies that reduce hunger and increase access to healthy food.
